First cracks Aru (retired) then cracks Yates (38 minutes) then attacks Froome (Stage victory) then crack Pozzovivo (8 minutes) and finally cracks Dumoulin (3:23) with Pinot and all the others

Froome takes his second stage victory and now leads by 40 seconds on Dumoulin with 1 mountain stage to go

 

The giro seemed closed and it is now back open

 

In Our Game we have 2 stage winners:

On the mountains we had a huge amount of points by almost everybody: Augusto won with 193 points (never saw this number before) but almost scored more than 100 points with one single exception Eros Murtas ‘s “Manubri Veloci Team” . It happens to be that Eros was the only one not trusting Froome

The points scored by Augusto give him also the classification lead on Lorenzo by just 2 points. The battle is open
