The Fantasy Tour De France 2026 – 25th edition, also known as De Longhi Tour Pool is now running, Finally

 

Stage report:

A Team Time Trial (TTT)… no sorry, an individual time trial (ITT)…

What a mess…

Usually the TTT are measured on 4th or 5th rider of a team, it is a TEAM effort not an individual effort

This year the tour gives INDIVIDUAL time to each member of the team, so it turned out to be an individual effort driven by the team, so all the team gave a long pull to the leader who had to compete by himself on the final short (olympic) climb.

1st was Vingegaard, 2nd Ganna, 3rd Pogacar (who gained also  the first KOM classification but with 0 points – another mess)

The game:

All screwed up… the new rules of the TTT created an unexpected exception to the automatic model and forced me to work and correct it (this is not good at all).

3rd Fat bottomed girls in yellow by Bud

All teams of the giro look very similar, so the fight this year will be around the 10th rider of the teams, which makes classifications shorter and more suspense.

The technical side

From tomorrow we will have a new editor (Giacomo) who accepted to become an editor for the stage reports. If you don’t like Giacomo’s reports, you can comment in the comment tab for every single stage

 

This leave time for me to concentrate on the graphics of the website (they are really crappy) – doing both comments and programming is too much..
