Stage report:

In stage 3 we had the first real mountain stage.

No early attack at the bottom of the climb, as we expected from the world champion, but just a little sprint in the final meters by Pogacar, who takes the win over his rival Vingegaard and takes also the yellow jersey from him as well.

Third place for Carapaz, with Seixas in fourth and all the other contenders two seconds behind.

The contest’s former organizer – TUINPAD PROMOTIETEAM by Rene van Noort – takes an excellent win, will this be his revenge after the fantasy was stolen from him?

Along with the stage victory he grabs the yellow jersey, with the same points of Fred De Witt, who came third following his win in stage 2.

Second on the stage Giacomo Gheri’s team MVDPOGAERT (a great mix of champions in that squad name). In the general classification we have Piccolo65 by Jeannette Kleijne in third place.

Stage 3’s KOM classification goes to El Tiburon by Barcollo ma non mollo, who now shares the lead in the polka dot jersey standings with Elena’s Team by Ele;).

The black jersey remains firmly on the shoulders of Marco Livio.
