Tour De France 2026 – Stage 6 | Pau – Gavarnie-Gèdre

Stage report:

The Tour hit the high Pyrenees for the first real queen stage, up and over the Col du Tourmalet, Isaac del Toro set the pace on the hors-catégorie climb, but once the road tilted up it was Tadej Pogačar who lit the fuse, going solo with 40 km still to race. The world champion never looked back, soloing to a huge win. Jonas Vingegaard came home second at 2’38”, with Del Toro third at 2’57”. Pogačar snatches the yellow jersey back from Torstein Træen.
