Stage report:
Another one for the sprinters from Périgueux to Bergerac, and another one for Tim Merlier. The breakaway, led by Liam Slock, was only reached with 1.3 km to go. Merlier came from seventh wheel and was simply untouchable once he opened up, taking back-to-back wins ahead of Biniam Girmay and Olav Kooij, his fifth career Tour stage victory, where is the other belgian sprinter, Jasper Philipsen?
Pogačar stays in yellow.

Davide Guarisco’s Scatto Timido Cycling Team takes a fine stage win. At the top of the general classification we have a new pair of leaders, level on points: Jeroen Vandeput’s Molteni and AleRoggia’s Renz Team, who edge ahead of Fred de Witt’s White Tornadooos. AleRoggia and Jeroen have only one different rider, who will take the lead in the coming stages?
Another flat stage means the polka dot standings don’t move.
