Is the Giro going to be this boring all the way to Rome?

On the first real mountain stage on the Gran Sasso, some action was expected from the GC contenders but nothing, nothing happened.

Back in 1999 on the same roads Pantani, Gotti and Jabalabert made it a show, but nothing happened on stage 7 in 2023

In the end a breakway from KM 0 made it to the end with a victory to Davide BAIS on Karel VACEK adn Simone PETILLI

This is the first Solo victory in the Giro this year

Partecipants are getting more and more experts

Claudio Ceni’s Come C’enno wins the stage and climbs some positions. The mountains competition, as usual, classifications are really tight
