The Stage:

A flat stage for sprinters, nothing will happen…

but wait, what’s going: a group of top line sprinters make a break after an intermediate sprint and take almost 2 minutes advantage. Sprinters normally do not fit with breakaways and this is kind of weird.

The chase ends 40km to the line and then nothing will happen until the final sprint…

but wait, what’s going on: at 3 kms to the line race leader Tadej POGACAR and runner up Geraint THOMAS escape from the group taking a few seconds advantage forcing all the group to chase as they are caught 200 meters from the line.

Not the sprint can happen and this is the only thing you will see on the 30 seconds stage recap in the news:

After the great performance of yesterday, today Rita Visonà’s Barcollo ma non mollo scored 0 (Zero) points. Somthing more to learn for you it seems

The stage is won by Supergiovane’s ICHNUSA VIRUS

You need to know that Supergiovane is the youngest star of the Tri-Gliceridi team. His nickname will survive him no matter if we sign anybody new.

On Sunday Supergiovane joined us in Oropa. He is not in the pictures of yesterday because we severely outsprinted him, arriving hours before him. As an excuse he claims he went to Oropa by bike from Como putting together 160 KMs while we started closer to the line. He deserves his stage victory

Mountains:

Nothing happened today (it was a sprinter’s stage) so no big changes.

Three teams scored 2 points: Massimiliano Cividini’s Capitanmax, now in second position, Daniele Poletti’s Pedalando allegramente and THE GOLDEN MONKEY….
