The Mortirolo is always a show. I did it once by foot and it was dead hard.
Nibali attacked halfway up the Mortirolo, he go a few seconds lead and was eventually reached by the Movistar Duo (Landa/Carapaz)
Roglic Cracked and lost more than 1 minute and now he is third, overtaken by Nibali.

Fantagiro
Only one team had Giulio CICCONE, who made the full load of mountain points.
This Introduces a new stage winner: Marco VIGANÒ‘s KOM Team. Marco wins both mountains (where he extends his lead) and the stage. Marco was reached for the Fantasy Giro just a few hours before deadline and had to put together a team in a few minutes. He looks strong in the mountains, and maybe next year he will compete also for the General Classification
At the top, we have 3 teams in 1 points all over the 1000 points level. Claudio, Alessio and Massimiliano, you are running on the line of the competition record (1430 points), can you reach this with the last 5 stages?
Just behind them in third is Joeren VANDEPUT‘s Molteni. Joeren pull your Merckx out….
And in fifth we have Davide GUARISCO‘s Masterchef United. Davide still has not won a stage but is very consistent and is only 23 points off the leaders.
