As expected it ended in a mass sprint won by Alberto DAINESE with Fernando GAVIRIA on second and Simone CONSONNI Third

The big sprinters Dèmare, Ewan and Cavendish were jsut behind

Nothing more to say on this stage except that Girmay did non start the stage because of his eye injury

The game

Only Three teams had Dainese on their roadster:

Mattia Formenti’s Luca Giurato FTW, Alessio Ciardi’s Atletico Lasonil and Daniele Pontiggia’s Rutti di Bosco.

The stage victory goes to Daniele Pontiggia’s Rutti di Bosco who climbs to 7th overall.

Dear Mattia, you are in company of two of previous Giro D’Italia winners. but unlike the others, you are close to the monkey, Thanks to Dainese, you have now passed the monkey and only 3 teams left behind

Yesterday’s winner Luca Canziani’s Il Ciclista per caso dropped form 6th to 16th. this was a three days up and down for you

The best rookie is again Manuela Poccianti’s Homer Ka – back in 6th position. Manuela is quietly standing behind the first line and is the first team not to have won a stage wich is shining just behind the senators.

The GC is rather short. we will still see some surprises
