Completely flat stage with expected sprint

At the last KM Edoardo AFFINI escaped from the group and did a Time Trial to try and win the stage.

But Giacomo Nizzolo outsprinted him and won the stage. Third was Peter Sagan

Giacomo Nizzolo surprisingly had never won in the Giro with 35 top 5 results of which 11 seconds and 5 third. Finally he won his stage

Today was the last stage for sprinters and the majority of them will retire tomorrow. THe real mountains start with the Zoncolan.

The game

Finally i made it to catch up with stages and now i have finally sent you the result on same day as the race.

Today’s stage was won by Luca Monducci’s Rivoluzione d’Ottobre that also climbs to 4th in general classification
