Nevertheless, Koen BOUWMAN won his second stage from a breakaway ahead of Mauro SCHMID and Alessandro TONELLI.
BOUWMAN wins with the mountain (Blue) Jersey. the first dutchman to wear this in the history of giro. A deserved win for the leader in the mountains
The arrival had a sharp turn with 50 meters to go and Andrea VENDRAME who was ready to sprint but was closed to the fences
Nothing happened in the GC and all the bullets are left for the last mountain stage on the Marmolada

Angela had Vendrame on her team and was ready to celebrate with him but in the end was captured in the corner. A well deserved victory for Angela, with some additional distance to the monkey
